I see amazing deals for brand new Leapmotor T03’s sitting at around 15k? Surely it’s too good to be true?
I am only looking for a small city run around as I need something small to pick the kid up from school and do the shopping/ weekend trips but it feels too cheap to be real?
Anyone with any experience?

Just moved into my new home 4 months ago and unfortunately my car has broken down and no longer drivable (clutch is done in). I used to drive a little 1L auto Toyota aygo for getting to work and picking up our kid from school. (I can only use automatic so can’t drive my partners car)
The person that owned the house before me had an EV charger installed and it sits on the side of our home.
My partners car is a 2L diesel so we generally use his car for big trips etc.
I live in quite a rural part of Scotland but there are a few electric cars in the town and plenty of chargers.
I can walk to work in 10 minutes and to my sons school in 15 so I’m generally been doing okay (not had a working car for 2 months now)
When the winter months come in I’ll consider my next car and I’ll have saved up a deposit by then. I am looking for advice and whether you think an electric car would work for my family? The farthest I tend to go alone is a 39 mile trip to a service station to collect my gran twice a month but there are chargers there.
Will it last longer? I had my aygo 2 years and it’s broke down. I don’t want to pay 10k towards a car for it to only last two years.
Any advice on the lifestyle would be great!
