Worst POSSIBLE experience EVER!!!!
So, a while back I opened a bank account by Bank of America. 2 months, almost 3 in, and we get notified that our account is being frozen and closed due to a “business decision”. Fine, but then I asked about the balance that is in the account and was told that we would receive the cheque for the balance. so cool right??? this was in the first week of April 2026… followed up almost every week asking about it…. To be told that we have to wait until either the system says the cheque has been delivered and we didn’t get it, or that it was returned for non delivery…. today is the 15th of May and I receive a letter from PBS Utah that the amount that was in the account HAS BEEN DONATED TO this organization!?!?!? Excuse me what?! No request, nada. Just oh thank you for your donation…. Are you kidding me?!?! Is this even possible????? The amount of the so called donation IS THE EXACT amount that was in the account…. Now I have to wait until Monday to phone a hundred times to get through to someone to find out what on earth is going on… Anyone Know what else I can do? (ps not from America so i have no clue where to start). Thanks
