I’ve been friends with this guy and he’s usually pretty chill and respectful toward me, but we had a massive argument over his personal views.
He basically admitted that he has deep hatred and disgust for gay and lesbian people.
I tried to talk some sense into him and mentioned that some people are literally born like that and i even brought up biological stuff like ‘intersex’ but he just brushed it off as (bs) and claimed they’re all (faking it)
Honestly i don’t think i can stay friends with someone who carries that much hate for no reason, but he’s always been so nice to me personally, so im feeling conflicted
Should i just brush off the whole situation and stay friends with him, or is this a valid reason to walk away?
TL;DR my friend is super homophobic and thinks biology is fake im trying to decide if i should ignore it because he’s so nice to me or if i should end the friendship over his views.
