I'm looking for beta readers for the first book in a completed fantasy romance trilogy set in a post-war magical republic in the year 2158.
The Story: S runs her family's risk assessment firm and doesn't make mistakes until she saves the life of the most politically powerful man in the republic in the middle of a lobby attack. She ends up tangled in his world until she can find a way to get him out of his mess. N is a war-forged politician who's spent the last ten years building everything but a life for himself. S crash-landed in the middle of what's been the worst month of his political existence and has been a distraction he can't afford and an asset he won't let go.
Slow burn, political intrigue, magic system with actual rules, and an ending that leads into book two, which is 2/3 of the way finished.
