I am currently going through an enhanced review, the gentleman seems to be really focused on childcare. Going into extreme detail. I have uploaded all the documents he requested couple of weeks ago and a few days later I got my UC statement through as well showing how much they will be paying, but nothing to say they enhanced review is complete.

He also requested details (phone numbers) of school, my employment and childcare Centre.

1 - is this a good sign? That they are continuing the payments a few days after I have uploaded all the documents he requested?

2 - What could they potentially be checking about the childcare or what about the childcare could have made them initiate a Enhanced Review.

3 - why would they want to contact the school and my employment? Childcare is understandable as they would want to confirm if my children attend, but the school and employment didn't make sense.

4 - the gentleman asked alot of indepth questions about how long it takes the children to get to school and back and how long is the round trip to school, how we take them to school and back. how long it takes them to get to childcare etc, why would they ask all of this?

What are the possible reasons for this enhanced review

I just wondered if an Enhanced review was an Investigation? Or ar investigations done by a. Different team?

Has anyone had an enhanced review recently? I just wondered what time frame they were advised of and how long before they got a reply or how long did it take for the review to complete?

Is there a surge of these reviews going on currently?

Hi,

I had a call from a gentleman who said he was from the enhanced review team and would like to have a call with me and my partner regarding our UC claim.

Is this a random check or have they possibly had a complaint? Is this like a fraud investigation or looking to pick out certain things?

I don't believe I have ever had a review in 2.5 years since I was moved over to UC from chipd tax credit

I just recently had LCWRA accepted but haven't been paid that element as yet.

Wonder if its something to do with that?

Any advice or input will be grateful.
