Hey fellow DRZ fans,

The DRZ has started to abruptly smoke on startup, then stops after a minute. The smoke is pretty significant at first, but doesn’t last through the ride.

It doesn’t smoke immediately on startup, rather it takes a second or 2 for the choke to reach high idle then smokes.

I know this is typically bad valve seals, but am also thinking it was from leaning the bike over trying to get my swingers bolt out.

Before digging into the bike further, would it be possible that oil buildup from having the bike on its side is only smoking on startup? It happened 3 days in a row so not a one time thing.
