Buyer is asking $5500, would want to offer $4000. Seems like lots of good upgrades but seems a bit pricey for a 20 year old bike. Coming from sport bikes, would appreciate any insight.

Its basically in the title. Can anyone tell me which model the headlight is used in this video? At first It looks like a generic Husqvarna or KTM Headlight. But it seems to be made up of two layers. Beneath the led there is a small vertical ridge right in the middle at the bottom. There are also two winglets going to either side covering the Fork. Any idea?

It’s a 2020 with 17290 miles

So, this cost me $204.98. It comes with header and exhaust, literaly everything you need. It fit perfectly no clearance issues at all. Of course it sounds like a chinese exhaust but for the price its not even half bad.

On my last post I said, I bought it because of someone stating theirs have lasted over 3 years with no rust so, lets see how long mine last before I need to buy another one :)

This is my first bike. 2023 drz400sm with 800 miles. Bought for 5,500. This thing is fun!

I was wondering if any of you work on electronics and could help me with my DRZ. The display is completely blank, but the backlighting works. When the display gets wet, it will work. When its dry, it doesnt work. I took the speedo apart and found some corrosion on the board. I assume there's a broke or corroded trace. I could buy a aftermaket unit but I think it would be cool and cheap to repair this one if it's possible.

Curious if there are any pros out there who can tell me how she sounds. Thanks! And I know it could be a million things. I assuming she's fine for now. Been having sooooo much freaking fun on her!!!

After taking some time away with other bikes I’ve come sprinting back to the faithful arms of the drz. Found this bone stock (aside from the tail tidy) 2024 just under 6k miles for $4800 and scooped it up.

I've been noticing my chain sliding against the side of my bike near the front sprocket while riding. My chain slack seems within spec, but the side to side slack seems to have quite a bit of play. Is my chain done for or should I just tighten up a bit more?

Today when I was starting my bike I gave er some throttle while turning then engine over and a fevken backfire blew my carburetor off the engine 😂

Just picked up this drz400s paid 2700. I think it was a good deal got all the mods I was gonna put on it already except a comfy seat rip. But super smooth and about 8k miles. Been having the time of my life in Tahoe national Forest. Here she is loaded up with my backpacking gear and ready to go. The paniers are still empty so I can through random things like food items and jacket when I'm on my journey in there. Anyway I'm the comments I uploaded a video showing how she's sounds. Kinda sounds like she has a louder tick than normal. But I'm probably just paranoid. Any drz400 pros can telle.she sounds good? Thanks!

Hello. I have a 2022 drz400s. Bought it off a guy that did some mods to the carb. I’m wondering if the float is not positioned properly? It currently has inconsistent power in first and second gear if I’m just slowly cruising like in traffic. But when I open the throttle fast in any gear it picks up well. Also it back fires a lot. I think he said he put the 160 main jet in. Any ideas or suggestions as to why it lags power in first and second gear?

The engine parts that were changed/replaced: connecting rod set, piston, timing chain, bearings, oil seals, gaskets.

I heard cold start and I think it sounded good

Would this be a good buy? Could be spark plug, battery, carb, or starter relay. Im pretty mechanically inclined. Would this be a good purchase?
