I just had my 2013 Audi A6 2.0T in for an oil change and overall check. They noticed the coolant hoses cracked from age, etc. I had them change them out and they put in new coolant and made sure there was no air in the system. My question is this. I looked under the hood to view the work and also look for a small oil leak that’s going on. I noticed that the new hoses look good, but they didn’t wipe the crusty area right around the connector of the hose to the coolant tank. Is it normally something that they would clean while the hoses were out? I don’t expect them to detail the engine, but I feel like it’s something I would do if I changed the hoses. It would not take much time to wipe the area quickly.

Am I asking too much?
