I think most of us understand that technical issues happen, especially if this really was caused by a recent Xbox update. The problem at this point isn’t even just the servers being down, it’s the complete lack of communication surrounding it.

Wreckfest has one of the most loyal fanbases I’ve ever seen in a racing game. People stuck with this game for years with minimal content updates because the core gameplay is just that good. The community kept the game alive on its own. That’s why this situation feels so frustrating.

A week-long multiplayer outage on a console platform with almost no meaningful updates from Bugbear or THQ Nordic is honestly kind of crazy in 2026. Most studios would at least acknowledge the issue publicly, explain what’s happening, or reassure players that progress is being made. Right now we’re just left guessing.

I’m not trying to attack the developers. I genuinely love this game and want Wreckfest 2 to succeed. But longtime players are getting tired of feeling ignored whenever major issues happen. This has been a recurring complaint for years now, even back when the game was newer and more actively supported.

Be sure to include your platform, how long this has been happening, the error code (E-0307) and any other pertinent information in your report.

Please keep it respectful if you do contact them. I think the community mainly just wants communication and acknowledgment more than anything else. The hope here is that with an outpouring of direct contact from the community will make THQ Nordic and BugBear more involved with their fanbase.
