surgery complete !
Hey all! Surgery was done about 6 hours ago and i actually feel pretty great and energized.
Surgery day wasn’t bad at all i was so anxious i wanted to puke at first but i powered through and glad i did. Surgeon decided on doing a transposition with a nerve wrap and it was successfully done!
Anesthesia wasn’t bad at all i remember laying in the OR and them boom out of literally no where i woke up in the recovery room… weird lol. They gave me a nerve block which actually not going to lie is extremely annoying because i genuinely can’t even wiggle a finger they just feel like dead weight- can’t wait for this to wear off. i think my throat being super sore after that breathing tube is what really feels the worst currently.
Overall i had a great experience and to anyone who’s surgery is coming up it’s ok to be nervous but believe me when i tell you it’ll be ok and it’s a super seamless experience. Now onto the recovery!
