Hypochlorous Acid cured mine

I don’t really post on Reddit but after seeing so many people suffering with this I just wanted to share what got rid of my Dyshidrosis. I used to have it on my hands, no idea what caused it, but after trying many different creams that didn’t work I came across a very old comment on this sub mentioning using bleach in water to soak hands and that’s when I had the idea to use Hypochlorous Acid (HOCL). HOCL is very mild and non-drying but even more effective than bleach for cleaning etc and I remembered I had some at home and thought, if bleach works then this will definitely work too. I had mine in an amber glass spray bottle.

All I did was spray this all over my hands or many times instead of spraying all over my hands (cos it would spray everywhere around them too), I’d just spray a good amount in my palm and then use that to rub all over my hands but only enough to get them wet. The goal is to leave them soaked in it and allow it to dry on its own. I still use the spray daily cos I love what it does for the skin and how it kills bad germs and bacteria.

I haven’t had any more Dyshidrosis since and it’s been several days.
we all respond differently to treatments but I’d really advise anyone with this to try HOCL. It’s super cheap if you buy the cleaning or for baby versions instead of skin specific sprays as this are the same thing but much more expensive. The brand doesn’t matter either. As long as the ingredients are only water and HOCL then you’re safe to go.

Good luck
