I’ve come here to ask you guys if you have any idea what the problem could be with my steaming or my machine (I know, quite arrogant of me). I used to be able to steam milk with the four hole steam tip perfectly fine and get perfect texture milk but I decided to clean out the steam tip like a genius and believe it or not I can not for the life of me get good milk anymore. I can get perfect milk with the 2 hole, but sitting there for 45 seconds to steam milk is not optimal. I’ve never had trouble in the past with this machine until now and I’ve tried everything. I’ve adjusted my steaming times and techniques and the steam pressure and either I get super garbage, foamy milk, or I get garbage foamy milk with the deadly screeching sound. I’ve tried adding air for longer and shorter, steaming for longer and shorter and using different milks. Nothing has changed outside me cleaning that tip. It just doesn’t make sense because when the machine was brand new and the tip was perfectly clean, I had no issues. I have descaled the machine (which took hours) and it made no difference either. Help please.
