Sounds like MCAS?

Hey everyone, so about a month and a half ago I got COVID, or at least I'm pretty sure I did because I didn't test myself since I assumed it was a normal cold. Since then I've been having a whole lot of weird symptoms I've never experienced before, and I've heard COVID is a common trigger for MCAS.

- Occasional bouts of itching (red areas on my skin that get really defined and red for like an hour then disappear, had it on my neck, arm, wrist, etc)

- Occasional chest pain that was much worse earlier, now comes in short waves

- Globus/throat tightening feeling that goes away but comes back

- Muscle pain in hands and legs (mostly calves, sometimes feels like tendonitis)

- Had strange neurological symptoms for a week or two (buzzing in legs)

- Twitches, have started magnesium seems to help

- Fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, migraines

I know these symptoms seem pretty broad but I'm honestly just trying to figure out if I should test out getting on some Antihistamines. I'm thinking Zyrtec and Pepcid

One sided pain?

Does anyone here have one sided pains?

I mean I have pain on both sides sometimes, and kind of a centered pain in my back, but I swear my right thenar (thumb) muscles are much more prone to getting sore along with my right leg. I have absolutely no issues with strength or coordination, I can do everything I need to, it's just kind of a dull ache that comes and goes. Maybe I'm just hyper focusing and gaslighting myself.

So about a month and a half ago I had what appeared to me a normal cold. Bit of a stuffed nose and a sore throat, lasted about 5 days. Ever since then stuff has been crashing. I had extreme fatigue for like a week, chest pain, back pain, stomach cramps, random globulus in throat that varies in intensity, brain fog through all of this. Now my newest symptom about 1.5 months in is leg pain and some neuro symptoms like buzzing in my legs, twitches, occasional pins and needles, and just generally feeling like my muscles get sore easier.

The most annoying this about this is that I don’t even know if this is covid. Because my acute phase was so mild I didn’t even bother getting tested, but now I’m experiencing symptoms that a lot of COVID long haulers appear to have. Has anyone had a similar experience?
