I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a weed trimmer that would be reliable/powerful enough to handle clean up around a garden of about an acre.

We are a non-profit so budget is tight but I’m looking for something that we can invest in and won’t be a pain to maintain. I want to make the switch from gas as our last trimmer was constantly needing repairs and I found it very heavy. I am the only employee maintaining the garden and something lighter would help save my energy for all the other tasks.
