The "parade charade", we got a live one

The "parade charade", we got a live one

As a special needs mom, my stomach immediately turned and the red flags were a flying. 🚩 To waive like Ms. America while you're being transported on your sick child's hospital bed at 2am? Asking someone to hold your phone and take this of you during a time you a.) didn't need to be on the stretcher with the child, walk yourself. She's clearly unconscious, this wasn't for emotional support.

What a bizzare thing to do while your child's life hangs in the balance. Hoping I'm not breaking any rules.

Unalived kids posted to Facebook

There was a popular social media family of a young man and his family whom I have a lot of respect for. I was shocked when he was posted in ICU delirium or just in cognitive decline and struggling to breathe. Pics of the body and videos in active dying.

Another creator today who lost their child is sharing a video on Agonal respirations. (Basically breathing that happens just before they expire.)

I'm deeply disturbed by this trend. In that state neither child could consent nor is their suffering content. I know they all at it's for "awareness" but I couldn't imagine filming in my child's last moments or not giving them the dignity of a private last moments.

I had a 2 tier spinal fusion L/4-L/5 and L/5-S1 8/2019. I had an infection after that requiring surgery. The fusion scar has really never healed. As soon as I come off antibiotics it comes back and opens up.

I saw infectious disease today and he's pretty sure after thorough evaluation that it's in my hardware and has to be removed. I'm on long term IV antibiotics until surgery. Getting a port placed soon.

How bad is hardware removal surgery after it's been in this long? I am successfully fused if that makes a difference. What does recovery look like?
