Xfinity Cable Line cut yesterday morning. Promised service call today did not happen
A workman cut the buried Xfinity cable line to our house while digging yesterday at 9 am. This is a simple issue that requires reconnecting the cable line to our house. I called Xfinity at Noon and was told someone would call me back that afternoon with expedited service because I'm a "VIP subscriber". The call never came. At 4:30 pm, we called again with another 45 minute phone call and told that we wouldn't get service until Wednesday, 6 days later!
We requested a manager who then put us on hold multiple times, and then said someone would come out today between 3pm and 5pm. It is now 6pm and no one has come. And no phone calls or messages to explain the delay.
It is now Memorial Day weekend, and I'm without cable TV, internet, or Comcast phone service. This lack of responsiveness and communication is unacceptable. I'm not even sure what is the status of my service request. How do I determine that?
