Built a map to find calm public spaces — sensory ratings for noise, lighting, crowds (Toronto)
Something I've been working on for a while and wanted to share here.
It's a community-powered map where you can look up any place in Toronto and see how it rates on noise, lighting, and crowd levels — scored by people who've actually been there.
The idea came from the friction of trying to find places that are actually comfortable vs. just "open." Google doesn't tell you if a café is loud or if the lighting is harsh. This tries to fill that gap.
Still early (beta), Toronto only for now. Search "SenseMap" or drop a comment and I'll share the link directly.
Would love feedback from this community especially.
