While it's understandable that many who leave the Watchtower for what ever reason go on to other Churches of Christianity or even join a non Christian faith or leave religion all together do any who are still believers give serious consideration to either researching or studying or even joining the Bible Student Movement? You know the original , parent body that Rutherford and his disciples split from and created the Jehovah's witnesses out of in 1931 ?

There are many other groups that originate in Charles T Russell's ministry other than the JWs. There are the New Covenant Fellowship, the Free Bible Students and the independent Bible Student congregations served by the Pastoral Bible Institute or the Bible Student groups that formed ' The Dawn'. Also the Layman's Home Missionary Movement , the Switzerland based ' Friends of Man' or the Nigerian based God's Kingdom Society.

This in no way should be read as an endorsement or glorification of the tragedy of November 18 1978.

Instead it is a way for we who study this tragedy to began to comprehend how and why some would uproot themselves from nation, family and familiarity in a rich superpower nation to live in a jungle camp in a foreign, poor nation. And why many among them would rather die and kill than return .

Writing for Some is therapeutic and healing.

So...

Some one out there outta write a book or two.🙂

It could be set in the late 19th century. Based on two or three families in which some becomes Russelites and others don't.

The story arch of those that do could include the effects of the prophetic failure of 1914 and the redirection of the movement under early Rutherford ( 1916- 1926) which , of course would include the prophetic failure of 1925.

The concluding arch could include those who stayed , left or vaccilated as 1931 brought the name JW and 1935 brought the new light of the ' other sheep' earthly class and the term ' Kingdom Hall' and could end with Rutherfords passing and a hint of what the future would hold for those who continued on ' in the Truth'.

With A.I. assistance and the vastness of the internet ? Some one could write a great story full of characters that reflect into the past what you know and experienced.
