Confused/admission enquiry?
Ok so I’m currently filling out my NUST preference form and I am completely lost. (Not familiar with nust and its degrees at all)💔💔
Basically, my ideal target is either a degree like Management Science (the way LUMS offers it, focusing on decision making and quantitative management) or Business Analytics / Data Analytics (the way FAST offers it, with programming, SQL, and data crunching mixed with business).
But looking at the NUST dropdown for business/humanities, there isn't a direct "BS Business Analytics" or "Management Science" option. It’s just BBA, BS Economics, Psychology, Mass Comm, etc.
Mujhe samajh nahi aa rahi ke NUST mein in dono fields ke closest konsi degree banti hai?
-If I take BBA, do we get proper analytics/data electives in the final years, or is it purely traditional corporate management (HR, Marketing, Finance)?
-If I take BS Economics at S3H, will that give me the heavy statistical/data modeling background needed to break into data analyst roles, or is it just dry theoretical econ?
If any senior from NBS or S3H can guide me on how to structure my preferences or what the actual scene is regarding analytics modules here, I would be incredibly grateful.
