I'm so confused about how much we have to write for the paragraph in English. The word limit is 100-120 words but that's barely a few lines.... I asked my teacher about it and she said we have to follow the word limit, not the given space.

For my 10th exams I didn't follow the word limit and filled the page, got 72/75. So I don't know if I should listen to my teacher or not!!! She's been teaching for 23 years atp so I guess she knows a thing or two, but I still can't help being confused about this....

Any thoughts or advice from seniors?
