Tower 300 Optical drive placement.

I have recently started collecting CDs and ditching spotify, so now I need a way to fit a slimline optical drive from an old laptop into the PC. I highly prefer *in* the case because I already have enough stuff on the desk.

I will take recommendations for certain drives if its required for a certain idea to fit in the case. I should have working 3D printers in the near future so printed solutions are good.

Yes, i googled already and found nothing helpful.

Graphics glitches in games

For the past couple weeks ive been seeing weird graphics glitches like this and I have no idea why. The video shows beamng, and some weird glitch where entire polygons just flicker and disappear. Even as soon as the game opened, there was some flickering in rows across my screen, sometimes on the right side of the monitor to my left.

I think i might be my gpu:

I suddenly smelled electrical smoke when playing a game a few days ago and rebuilt my pc looking for overheating damage, I didnt see anything.

I took out the gpu and booted with igpu and no smell. Hoping its just a failing fan, I put the gpu back in with no fans and just heatsink, no smell.

"Well fans are cheap, so ill test and make sure its the fan". I put the fans back on and booted, no smell even at full speed.

PC specs:

CPU - R5 7600 - Cooled by peerless assassin

GPU - XFX QICK 319 RX 6750XT

RAM - 32GB DDR5

MoBo - MSI Pro b650m-p

PSU - GameMax RGB850

Id really appreciate any help from you guys. I dont have the money to replace my gpu rn especially since the prices for this one have gone up so much since I bought it for $300.
