Got a D in AP Economics my senior year because of a medical situation. What are the odds of my admission being rescinded?
Ok so I was just accepted off the waitlist to UCI today. Completely unexpected so I'm kinda nervous right now.
For context, my school teaches both AP economics (Micro and Macro) throughout the school year, and that class and AP government is combined into the same schedule (Basically, we would have econ monday --> gov tuesday, vice versa).
Unfortunately, I had a medical situation (depression yay) in December that led me to getting hospitalized for a while, and that's when my grades just basically tanked. My teacher is a pretty strict grader, and no matter the circumstance, she would take off a point from each late homework. I missed a bit so that really dragged my grades down. I'm doing totally fine in AP Gov and the rest of my classes, and my transcript from the past two years is pretty much all As and Bs. This is the first time I've ever gotten a grade below a C+. I also had undiagnosed ADHD and found out literally a month ago, if that helps??
But yeah anyways I'm like 99% sure my admission is gone pls give me some insight if you had similar experiences or know how the process might go. Thanks!
