Having Harry and Lloyd having no idea what $ex actually is is actually kinda dumb (pun intended). Several times throughout the movie (and the 1st 1) it hints at Harry and Lloyd having an idea of what $ex is so why would they do that? It's like they (the writers) forgot about all the subtle hints that they dropped... Lloyd's fantasies for example.
The movie wrapped filming well over a year before the film's actual theatrical release date. I hope that don't go way the hell overboard on CGI special effects or at least keep the CGI to a minimum and try to rely more on practical effects.
Personally I hope at some point that they make one based off of the Super Mario RPG game (originally on SNES and recently remade for Switch) it may be "too big" of a story for just 1 movie though and be turned into a 2-parter (but then what would they do with Rosalina and whoever else they add between now and then). I think it would also be cool to see Bowser become either Giga Bowser or Dry Bowser in one of the movies as well.
In Invader Zim, Why didn't Zim just bring his lunch to Skool (i know it's spelled wrong, but that's how it's spelled in the animated show)? I know it's to be funny and to give his classmates to "notice" that he's an alien, but still from a narrative standpoint, I mean... or him just avoiding entering the lunchroom altogether.
