I think my phone listens to my convos…
I don’t usually make Reddit posts, but I felt compelled to do so regarding this topic.
The other month me and my friend were on the phone talking about something completely random. We were talking about the president was gonna get her son. A Harry Potter Lego set.
As soon as I got off the phone and opened my IG, the first ad that pops up it’s a Harry Potter Lego set.
Now, I have never looked up Legos on my phone, probably for more than 10 years. nor have I ever been a Harry Potter fan. I haven’t even seen all the movies.
How in the fuck did my phone know to pull that ad up. I’m convinced my conversations are listened to. I’m aware of algorithms predicting ads based on my searches and stuff, but not phone calls!!!
Has anyone else experienced this?!!!
