How can I ruin my kids’ summer with homework?
Alright, the title is a bit of a clickbaity exaggeration but I was talking with my friend who homeschools her kids about what they do during summer and it made me remember how real summer brain drain is.
My question to the group at large is what do you all do that help keep your kids engaged and learning without spoiling all of their summer fun? Mine are big readers so they will naturally do that on their own. We also have them signed up for a few day camps so they won’t completely languish in their social skills. What else should I consider for my elementary aged kids?
