I grew up in a christian church, saw some good from it but mostly had very bad experiences with it. I do, however, love the idea of having a community of peaceful like-minded, non-religeous people who could gather a few times a month, do community events and recieve free childcare for a couple hours to hangout and learn some new stuff. Also a place people can meet to volunteer and do good works.

Im playing with the idea of trying to start a local satanic temple. People get afraid of the word satan and I am a bit anxious about violent pushback from the local christian community. But I'm digging for interest levels. What do you think of the idea?
