So...how do people do this? Is there a reliable vendor to buy a new mattress from that will guarantee delivery on the day I move in?

We couldn't get our desired morning ferry so have to do something between 10a and 4p ferry departure.

It's HOT, so I thought maybe hotel day pass. Anyone know of such an option in Hvar town?

Or... something else to do with a family of 4 for the heat of the day?

What are your thoughts on a hired tour guide for Split? There's a lot of history with Diocletian's Palace, etc ... so I thought it would be nice, but maybe it's not worth it? Thanks!

We will be staying in Hvar for a couple of nights. Do we need to go back to Split to take a catamaran to Dubrovnik? Can we take the catamaran from Hvar? If we leave from Split, Is it better to hire a car from Split to Dubrovnik?
