Does anyone know the actual steel grade of the Addiesdive AD2054 bracelet?

Does anyone know the actual steel grade of the Addiesdive AD2054 bracelet?

Full disclosure: I recently made a video on the Addiesdive AD2054, and upon finishing it, I realized I still have a question I’m hoping the community can help me settle.

While the marketing for this model explicitly states that the case is 316L stainless steel, I’ve noticed that for the bracelet, they simply list it as "stainless steel." The bracelet actually feels solid and performs well, but after looking into the specs, I realized I still don’t know if this is truly 316L or a different alloy.

Has anyone here had theirs long enough to know if this bracelet holds up long-term, or does anyone have a more definitive spec source than the standard product listings? I’ve included my look at the watch here
if you're interested.

What is your experience with the stock AD2054 bracelet? Does it hold up to daily wear, or have you swapped it out?

Supply Chain Question: How Addiesdive handles workflows vs. outsourced parts (Bracelets, finishing, etc.)

Hey everyone, any supply chain gurus out there familiar with the Shenzhen/Guangdong manufacturing market?
I'm currently working on a review video for an Addiesdive watch. In the video, I want to dive a bit into the background of how the brand operates to add some unique context for my viewers. Based on factory walkthrough footage and some industry discussion, I want to make sure my understanding of their current workflow is completely accurate before I finalize the script.
Here is how I understand their ecosystem to map out:
1. In-House CNC & Assembly: They operate their own physical facility (under Shenzhen Addies Technology Co., Ltd.) where they have a massive room dedicated to CNC case milling out of raw 316L steel blocks. They handle the case finishing, hand-softening the lugs, installing third-party movements (Seiko, Miyota, etc.), fitting gaskets/crowns, testing water resistance, and shipping direct to consumer.
2. Outsourced Bracelets: They do not mill or manufacture their own metal bracelets in-house. Because stamping, pinning, and linking require entirely different specialized machinery, they outsource the bracelets from a Tier-1 component factory in the local Shenzhen/Dongguan industrial cluster.
Does this sound accurate to those who track the production side of AliExpress brands?

From “Never Again” to Success: Finally Fixed my Pagani Design 1701

A while back, I tried building a MOD watch as a gift from my wife, and let's just say it was a nightmare-specifically the second hand. Because of that, I was terrified to touch my Pagani 1701 (the pearl-white dial version), even though the second hand had popped off.
It sat in my watch for a few months, but I finally decided to go for it. To be honest I wasn't even sure if I could get it apart. I started with a simple question: Can a friction ball actually open this case back?
After 20 minutes of struggling and being seconds away from quitting, I felt it finally give way.
Taking it apart went surprisingly well, but | was dreading the second hand again. I recently remember having seen a different technique then the tutorial I had seen on The MOD watches website for setting it. I gave it a shot, and it just popped right into place. I'm honestly buzzing that I managed to get it running again.

Vintage Luxury vs. Modern Homage: Tudor Prince Oyster Submariner (1980) meets the Watch Dives 5513 V2

Had the incredible privilege of borrowing a 46-year-old Tudor Submariner from my brother-in-law for a video. Now that it’s time to give it back, I’m replacing it with the Watch Dives 5513 V2 to keep that classic aesthetic in the rotation.

If you want to see how a modern, budget-friendly homage stacks up against a decades-old luxury heirloom with a cool backstory, I put them side-by-side right here.
