DP for Price Match Guarantee on CSR and question
Had a successful price match for four seasons Mumbai!everything exactly the same except chase is pay now and booking.com pays later (which makes it even better in chases favor).
Here’s the email excerpt:
“A Chase Travel specialist has reviewed the claim you submitted for our Price Match Guarantee. Good news: Your claim has been approved for a refund of the nightly rate difference.
For this request we approved a refund of the rate difference as an exception because you are a valued Chase Travel customer. The comparison rate you provided used pay-at-stay terms rather than prepaid terms and therefore falls outside the program’s eligibility criteria.
For future submissions, please review the Price Match Guarantee terms for full eligibility details. We do not guarantee future waivers.”
And then:
“You’ll receive a refund of $147.36. The refund will appear in your account within 1-2 billing cycles.”
My question is since I used $250 in cash to trigger the Edit credit and then used 72k UR points for balance, where is this credit gonna go to? Anyone book with cash and points before and have successful match?
