Hey! I work for a small MSP, and we had the opportunity to install a Command Access MLRJ1-FAL25 motorized retraction mechanism on a pre-existing Falcon 25 series panic bar with an upper vertical rod latch.

We have gone back a few times to address an issue where the panic bar wont reset after the motor retracted it. This panic bar system might be wearing out. Or the motors retraction screw might be too stiff. I have the limiter set to only pull as far as necessary. But the bar still sticks.

Can anyone with experience with these motorized panic bar systems tell me what might be the safest remedy for this situation while maintaining the motorized retraction function?
