My girlfriend of 8 years cheated on me
Im a male 25 years old, she is 23yrs old, Basically what the title says, we have been together for almost 8 years now, we started dating in 2018 and ofc like any other relationship we had ups and downs, but never because of infidelity, when we started dating 4 years into the relationship we both agreed that having no social media was better for the relationship,more time, less distractions this year she wanted to start having facebook because she said she wanted to catch up with her family and all her family was on there, so I agreed that only Facebook was fine, well 4 months after, I wake up in the middle of the night and she is asleep and her phone is on, with Facebook open, for some reason I heard a voice saying “this is your chance to check her phone” and I didn’t wanna do it, just left it there untouched, I never check her phone, because I believe in self privacy, but I couldn’t fall asleep, so I ended up checking it and found out that she has been texting an old school friend that she had, and the texts were pretty obvious of what they were doing, I even found a picture of the 2027 Chevy Camaro that I showed here last week, I’m broken down right now, as I literally proposed to her on eastern day this year so a little over a month ago and she is out here doing this, I’m just so broken and idk what to do or how to tell her, we both live together with my parents , so she is super close with them as well, I’m just so lost and broken and idk what to do, Im just hoping so see if any of you have gone through this(if you have I’m sorry now I know how it feels)and if you could give me and advice on how to go on from this.
