Jade complete, (177 hours)

Jade complete, (177 hours)

I’m soo happy omg. So worth it.

Some background:

I pretty much only play cs2, and I have almost 3k hours on it. So not too crazy considering that.

But still haven’t noticed in game benefit 😭.

Plat complete at ~20 hours
Diamond complete at ~120 hours
Jade complete at 177 hours

The jump from Plat to Diamond was harder tbh, but might be because I was practicing ineffectually, hoping that I would improve subconsciously just by sheer volume (valid Strat for many other things, but seems to not work for aim training) . Also getting a glass mousepad with good arm sleeves helped so much (fuck arm friction).

Barely did vdim, prob 2 hours at most, and did a bit of viscose and anima micro (probs 20 hours). Other than that, I just grinded the VT benchmark. In my opinion, grinding benchmarks still work, as long as you are 1. locking the fuck in (caring about pushing scores actually helps improvement imo), and 2. Constantly self diagnosing technique.

Not sure if I should grind for master complete, if that’s even worth it. Might start to specialize to more CS2 specific playlists.

0 improvement in game but went from Gold to Jade in Voltaic???

CS is my main game and I started doing kovaaks seriously a few months ago. Been mainly doing voltaic benchmarks, and a bit of anima benchmarks and viscose benchmarks. I have 150 hours in kovaaks now, and I started at gold and now I’m Jade with 4 master scores… I am confident that I will get Jade complete in the next 50 hours after I grind switching which I barely play, and probably get master soon after, since I’m breaking multiple PBs every day. Despite the huge improvement in kovaaks, I have noticed 0 improvement in my in game aim. My evidence is that my KD in warmup-server death match is actually slightly worse than it was before I started aim training. I haven’t been playing as much CS since I started kovaaks, but I usually play at least 30 minutes of DM per day and a couple premier or faceit games. There are so many factors that have changed, like peripherals, desk height, sensitivity, but still. How the fuck am I basically worse now???

I’m thinking after I get master, I’ll move toward CS specific kovaaks benchmarks/playlists like Haix’s routine, Anima, and voltaic valorant benchmarks. The idea being I develop my raw aim fundamentals first, and then specialize in more Tac-fps specific aim skills. So not all hope is lost, but I’m still disappointed that there aren’t in game results yet.

I linked my benchmark scores btw

Master score in 1 month of KB+mouse???

My friend might be the next aim prodigy. Bro got master in VT pasu S5 despite never gaming on mouse and keyboard until April this year. Although he did grind kovaaks for 100 hours already.

How impressive is this and should I tell him to quit his job to become the next VTmatty?

Linked his scores
