How likely is the possibility of lost luggage on direct flight?
Hello! I’m well aware that few people will post on Reddit when they DON’T lose luggage when flying. With that said, we have an upcoming direct flight from LAX to CDG and based on what I’ve read on here, if we check luggage we’ll probably never see it again. The more I read various posts, the more it reinforces that all checked luggage gets lost.
We don’t travel much, and will be taking carryon with some clothing but it’s a two week trip and need to check one bag. We’re getting to airport early, will have AirTags in it, but it all seems pointless because, according to Reddit, it’ll get lost anyway. Any reassurances from more experienced travelers would be much appreciated or if there’s anything else we can do to mitigate this paralyzing problem 😟😟
