I didnt expect the social part of losing weight to feel this awkward
Nobody talks about how weird people get once you start losing weight. I haven’t even lost a huge amount but suddenly every dinner turns into a conversation about Ozempic. Some people get super curious and ask invasive questions about calories, side effects, how much I’ve lost etc and other people immediately start making “easy way out” jokes. It’s strange because nobody had much to say when I was struggling for years trying every diet, workout plan, step challenge, meal prep phase imaginable. The funniest part is I still have to do all the boring stuff anyway. I still track protein, walk daily, try not to stress eat after work, and deal with setbacks when my routine falls apart. The medication just made it feel possible to actually stay consistent without constantly fighting my own brain around food. But people hear GLP1 and instantly act like you downloaded a cheat code instead of trying to improve your health
