Questions about my Russian
For my Russian, I have a few worries
- The plural endings- how do I know?
- I can’t roll my R’s….
- I am worried that I’ve made NO progress.

For my Russian, I have a few worries
On the second picture, how do my cursive words look? Any suggestions?

-sentence structure- it seems like Russian doesn’t have many verbs? In English it would be “I am at the metro” but in Russian “я в метро” literally means “I at metro” but it’s understood as “I’m at the metro” ?? I’m sort of confused!

-also, is cursive writing the main thing? While I’m learning, should I start writing in cursive to get used to it?
Close to finishing the Russian Cyrillic alphabet in cursive. Any tips on my letters?
A lot of people are asking why I want to learn Russian…well I’m intermediate in French and I find other cultures and languages very interesting and fun. I want to be a well rounded person that doesn’t ONLY speak English ;)
I struggle with
-remembering the different endings depending on whether the word is female or male..I have learned French and I know that they use Male and female ARTICLES but in Russian they change all the words? I would like some advice to understand!
-listening comprehension
-determining the gender of the word
I’m also worried because some native Russian speakers commented that some of my grammar is wrong? I use an app called Busuu and I just hope it works. Here are today’s notes and yesterday’s!
I can help you learn more advanced English and you can help me learn Russian! I would love to have a mentor.
I’ve been learning Russian for the past 3 weeks. I decided to learn it because I was bored and wanted something challenging. I use two apps: Busuu and Memrise. Busuu has structured lessons that help me learn, and Memrise is vocab words, to expand my vocabulary. After my lessons (3 Busuu lessons, 1 Memrise lesson, 1 cursive letter-everyday), I write it down on my white board. Does anyone have any tips on what I learn daily?
