>“Cheick [Doucouré] trained yesterday and this morning," said Sage when asked for a team news update. "All will be good for him. He was a little ill, but no, he’s fine.
...
Sage did confirm that Ismaïla Sarr won't be ready to return against the Tractor Boys.
"It's the same situation," Sage added. "He’s not with the team for the moment. I thought he could be with us in training on Monday, but it was not the case.“
We expect him next Monday to start training with the first-team. We want him on the pitch."
...
As previously stated by Sage, forward Jean-Philippe Mateta remains unavailable.

Bit more fanfare than a normal academy signing guess they see high potential.

Some key snippets:

>Pierre Sage has confirmed that Crystal Palace will be without Ismaïla Sarr when they take on Fulham on Saturday (15:00 BST), but revealed no additional injuries had been picked up following the last game against Manchester City.
...
“Sarr needs time to recover," he told his pre-match press conference. "He is injured at the moment."
...
“Everyone else, apart from our long-term injuries; Chadi [Riad] and [JP] Mateta, every other player has recovered well.”

Glad to hear that Tomiyasu didn't pick up anything after City at least

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is suing Crystal Palace in the High Court after fans of the south London club displayed a banner depicting him holding a gun to a player’s head.

Lawyers for Marinakis lodged the claim for defamation today, almost a year after the banner appeared at a Premier League fixture between the two clubs on 24 August 2025.

The banner depicted the Forest owner holding a gun to the head of the team’s captain Morgan Gibbs-White in a reference to the player’s U-turn over a transfer last summer.

It also bore the words: “Mr Marinakis is not involved in blackmail, match-fixing, drug trafficking or corruption.”

Greek shipping magnate Marinakis has never been charged with any of the stated offences and has previously vigorously denied any allegations.

Jaydee Canvot taking No. 6

Óscar Mingueza taking No. 30

Big shoes to fill for Canvot
