My cousin graduated Nursing School today so her school colors were the move!
Hey y’all. I recently sent my ProTac HL USB in to have the reflector replaced after I somehow managed to ruin the finish while wiping it off with a lens wipe (completely my fault). I called Streamlight before sending it in to see if they could replace just the reflector since I didn’t see it in the replacement parts list. The service rep was incredibly helpful and kind and told me I could absolutely send it in for repair. Fast forward to this evening to find that they’ve sent me a brand new light! While this is probably the best service I’ve ever experienced with any of my gear/tools, the original light did have some sentimental value. I called this evening and left a message about maybe getting the original light back, even if they couldn’t repair it. It wasn’t even a thought in my mind that they’d replace the entire light because it worked perfectly aside from the less than perfect reflector. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Were you able to get your original light back or does Streamlight destroy them immediately?
