I decided this was the proper watch to wear to my oldest’s high school graduation tonight. It was really special. I got to sign his diploma and hand it to him since I am the board clerk on our local school board!

Use quite often in the ocean for swimming, surfing, kayak etc. Although i love the bracelete it really sucks to use it in the wet

This was on Saturday. It was a 10 mile round trip hike. It was windy and kind of cold up there and the snow made the last bit very difficult. Completely rewarded though.

Took this while resting after battle (paintball) in Vietnam (rural Pennsylvania).

The watch is a Casio G-Shock GW-5000U1JF and the event was a Vietnam-themed multi-day event at Skirmish in the Poconos. Donned a straw hat and trudged through the woods for a few hours while shooting and getting shot at with a friend (couple of us couldn’t make it, unfortunately). Fun times!

This GMT was the first watch I ever bought, before I knew anything about watches. I really liked the way it looked and it’s really helpful, even when flying locally, because I keep the GMT hand on Zulu time. I put it on a black nylon strap because the original two-tone metal bracelet wasn’t my favorite.

Get me out of here.

I have not been out on a decent bike ride in years, and definitely not on my good Cannondale Synapse road bike. But I was cleaning and organizing the bike cabinet, and that led me to checking the bikes themselves, and the next thing you know I'm wearing the spandex and taking my Expedition Scout Solar out in the sun to charge it up.

Currently overseas but its the little things that make you smile. This watch is one of them.
