Lost a pin after just a couple of months. Bought on Ali, am I out of luck with this bracelet?
Hey folks. Just like the title says, got this on Ali, and now the bracelet has failed. Not sure what my options are here. Anyone else had something similar happen and get resolved?
FC classic worldtimer is probably what got me into interesting watches, and the new release is the sexiest worldtimer ive see yet. Had an American psycho moment at work today just gazing and thinking I couldn’t possibly justify dropping 6 grand on a new watch right now. Has anyone owned these or other FC manufacture watches? How do they hold up, and what is servicing them like in terms of process and cost?
I guess it’s a cliche that San Martin punches above its weight in finishing, but as I’ve gotten deeper into this hobby, my appreciation for my second piece has just grown and grown and grown, and when the character completely changed with the dark brown crazyhorse leather strap, I just had to share. The way the case of this $200 watch catches the light is just obscene for the price. Since this sharing post has rapidly turned into a review: it slips right under a cuff, and the only downside that I’ve noticed is the lume is very weak, but that’s going to be the case with any pre-vintaged old radium style lume. As far as I know, this is not a homage, though clearly inspired by divers of the 50s and 60s.
Anyone else own a San Martin? Is the finishing even nicer at the $300+ mark? I still can’t believe I got this for $210, like even trying to build one yourself from parts, you’d be pushing that price range without nearly the same quality in the case and sapphire.
