What are your thoughts?
I have a shield 9mm m2.0 with the thumb safty that I carry daily. I like everything about it except the recoil, and that the grip is pretty thin, not much to hold onto but these are manageable issues. Ive always been a fan of revolvers but dont want to carry one. Simple as that.
My issue is I would like to upgrade my carry but not sure which route to go. The options ive considered are (and I want something that I wont have to upgrade in the future, something fun to shoot and reliable)
building a glock, someone threw out the idea of this, just building a glock 19 because I like making things, putting together puzzles, fixing cars, etc. Idk what specifics I would have but I know I would want a threaded barrel for a comp, red dot, flashlight.
the first one i considered getting is the p365 axg legion. Its definitely cheaper, online it comes with flashlight and red dot, 17 round mags, all metal which is a huge plus for me. It feels really nice and not a fan of the plastic frames. Its also ported and costs like $600 online
smith and wesson performance center m&p 9 m2.0 metal with threaded barrel. Again I love the thumb safty, I can draw 1.2-1.4 seconds while disabling the safty on my shield.
Im unsure which i should go for and want recomendations, ideally I would like to have a metal frame, compensator, red dot, flashlight, and at least a 15 round magazine.
