Many people underestimate how structured French learning needs to be for TEF/TCF exams. Starting from beginner level, it can feel overwhelming without a clear plan.
The problem with most resources is they don’t prepare you for the actual exam format, especially speaking and listening sections. There’s usually no real-time correction, so learners don’t know when they’re making repeated speaking mistakes.
A guided system with step-by-step levels (A1–B2), speaking practice, and mock tests seems to work much better for consistent progress. What really makes a difference is when a tutor actively corrects you during live sessions and trains you to answer like in the actual TEF/TCF exam, instead of just practicing alone.
Has anyone here followed a structured French program for PR or tried live tutor-based preparation?
