Is intercalating in London really worth it ?
I have an offer for the ibsc management course at imperial, and was considering intercalating and doing this course. But when I deep it idk if going through the extra fees and moving is truly worth it. I initially applied to this for a break from studies and placement but then now when I think about it idk if leaving the city I got used to all of a sudden to go to London. Is the year in London really worth it for networking oppurtunities and finding internships etc, I do plan on sticking to clinical medicine but I am open to a hybrid career but I truly don’t want to just waste a year and waste a lot of money and debating whether I should intercalate or get on with my studies and wanted to ask for some brutally honest insight. For context I’m studying in Liverpool atm.
