Low AMH, elevated FSH, IUI results?
Hey everyone! I’m a 36 y/o female, recently diagnosed with POI/DOR due to low AMH 0.1, and elevated FSH 24.
After meeting with an RE, we are kicking off our first treatment plan soon:
-7.5 mg letrozole CD3-7
-ultrasound
-trigger shot (Ovidrel)
-IUI
They only spotted 4 follicles at my baseline ultrasound, but I’m trying to remain hopeful for a successful IUI given my cycles are pretty regular (consistently 20-26 days).
Would love to hear from other folks in a similar boat as I’m brand new to all of this. Anything you can share is appreciated! Just trying to get an idea of what to expect overall and obviously any success stories or pivots to alternative treatment plans that worked!
For context, I’m currently with Kaiser who does not do IVFs unless you have a minimum AMH of 1.5. But from what I hear, it’s almost not worth it with POI/DOR since success rates are pretty low.
