i got ABB with A*AA expected. I have no idea how I got here- i did have decently high scores on the aku test- have i lost the game

So imma say this plainly, this is a logical theory because ppl are panicking a lot on this,

“In-process“ means your results have been decided and matched whether fail/pass and will be communicated with you shortly. There are people who didn’t give the test and will get “in process” because they will also get a not shortlisted result, so will the people who passed. And i know this because my family manages admissions at universities, this is a standard process. So why don’t they just release “shortlist” or “not shortlisted” beforehand? My theory is because the system is still matching results with the names of the students and it will be released at once or in quick batches so people don’t panic too much.

You may not get your result status along with some other people at first like how verified hasn‘t appeared yet—because servers in certain locations will be slow not because you’ve failed/passed so your results will be quicker somehow. Certain centre locations probably just release their results quicker.

i can be wrong and so can my fam because maybe aku has a different system somehow, but this makes the most sense. I don’t think you getting “inprocess” quickly or late has any hint for your decision ultimately so don’t panic and don’t fear monger if you’re not sure what it means. Fear mongering doesn’t help anyone.

The admission candidate numbers start with 00 and all in all that’s 8 digit code… and its the same for everyone because of the standardised marked answer sheet in the beginning where we had to mark our codes.

I’ve been monitoring reddit for a while now, and im sure you are to but iss kay baad don’t look at reddit for the next two days at least. Just consider yourself unselected. Its a 2% acceptance rate. I’m closing reddit to cz there will be fake rumours like this awful stunt again, and don’t fall for it till you see your results on your own portal.

Focus on MDCAT so jaein bas. Not worth ruining your mental health, esp not this university. Because AKU said “by end of july” that could just mean 31st and I agree 100% the system should be better and more clear but… 🤷‍♀️ oh well
