Around 2018 (going by the original upload date on the Internet Archive), Alex would release a video called "Hate And Shame" that introduced to you a scenario where a girl is being victimized by gremlins and involved in drama over forum posts she made on the internet.

To no one's surprise this video was all about Alex and the drama surrounding him at the time where people began to notice his mismanagement with the game, the constant false promises he never lived up to, the begging question at the time being "Where's Osana?" and then the discovery of him originally going by the name Evaxphon where more of the internet would discover his posts on the Gaia Online forums and how his behaviour back then reflects to how he acts now.

Alex would create this video with the narrative that he was being attacked by gremlins and targeted by "gossip tabloid YouTubers" such as Kappa Kaiju (who at the time made his video called "The Real YandereDev" where he talked about Alex's handling of the game and outright stated in his video that he was not going to discuss his past and wanted to focus on what was present at the time of the video's creation) and compared his situation to other lolcows that were also targeted by gremlins.

After he made this video he would make a poll asking people what he should do, the poll doesn't seem to be archived (to my knowledge at least) but if I remember right - some of the options included:

- Making videos debunking the drama he's been in.

- Not making videos relating to the drama at all and focusing on the game.

He had plans to make a part 2 to this video but it would never come into reality (unless you want to count his deleted apology from 2023 as "Hate And Shame 2")

In 2023 the video would be deleted from his channel, the reason for this would be because allegedly the artist of the original video had asked him too:

I told him to delete the video because I don't want to justify the crap he did and doing.

The issue with this video and why it's so infamous is because of Alex's failure to take any accountability, realize his behaviour and why it's only making things worse for him and try to grow as a person.

Instead he would rather manipulate people into thinking he's some sort of victim that the internet likes to poke sticks at because anyone who dares to criticize him are "gremlins"

(Yes I am aware that there are people who do go out of their way to harass him and send him threats, but he's grouping any criticism against him as "harassment" which can include people giving him genuine criticism about his game, his behaviour and people trying to bring up that he groomed children. Those are all gremlins to him because he is 100% convinced he did nothing wrong in the slightest.)

Edit: I can't fucking believe this needs to be said but of course trying to harass his family is not okay at all, no one here is fucking saying that's okay and this post isn't even saying that's okay at all.

The issue is that he's grouping both people who was legitimately harassing him and his family and people who are genuinely trying to spread awareness about him, criticism his game and him as a person as one and the same because he seriously cannot differentiate them and has banned people from his community for "harassment" when all they did was just say they don't like the game, how the game could be improved and say how they do not like how Alex is acting.

No one is "weaponizing" his old posts about him either because a lot of his old posts literally reflect as to how he acts in the present, there are a few that people do 100% cherry pick and make a made up scenario but the rest clearly show Alex's behaviour that are still within him in the present such as him being an incel, his refusal to take any suggestions and his constant bitch fits over genuine criticisms.

This post was made as a throwback to show Alex's failure to recognize all of this and improve on himself, not criticizing people who are against him. Those are whole two completely different discussions and this post is not / not intended for that.

He didn't need to make the video, he could of used what was going on at the time to genuinely take a moment and think about how he's acting and why people are doing this but he didn't because he doesn't want to change, he just does not care at all.

When the video game out, it was widely mocked. Was the turning point for his diehard fans at the time to realize what was going on and the truth about him and dipped, and had his statics on YouTube and Patreon to dip.

This post was made as a fun throw back and not meant to argue over who is right and who is wrong. Knock it off.

I believe I have already posted this either 2-3 years ago but I'm uploading this again as a sort of "Throwback Tuesday" kind of thing because I just remembered this, plus don't know how many new people in this sub aren't aware of this.

For context this comes from one of his (Deleted) video where he talked about emails and volunteers, this was one of the first instances where Alex waged his war with e-mails and pin the blame on them as to why development of the game was taking a long time, can't remember if this was in the part 1 or the part 2 (Where this segment comes from) video but in them he kept turning down suggestions to better handle his email influx and these suggestions were.

- Having two separate email accounts, one strictly for volunteers and the other for community management. He turned this down because he did not want to manage two different emails. (Even though it's pretty normal to have a personal and a business email if you are managing a project like this.)

- Have an assistant manage his emails while he focuses on the game. He turned this down because he didn't want to explain to someone how to do the job.

- Have a forum for volunteers. He turned this down because he didn't want to manage a forum. (This is the only one where I can kind of understand turning down.)

After turning those down he would lament on how "life was so easy for him" and "where did I go wrong?", all over emails.
