Broken keycap retainer clip on Lenovo LOQ — can't find replacement. Anyone from South America dealt with this?
Hey everyone. I have a Lenovo LOQ 15IRX10 and I broke the small plastic retainer clip that holds the keycap to the scissor mechanism underneath. It happened while trying to remove a small piece of debris that got stuck inside the key — classic mistake, I know.
A technician fixed it a couple months ago (I think he used some kind of super glue + carbonated water trick, or something along those lines), but it's coming loose again and the key keeps popping off.
I live in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, so getting replacement parts is not easy at all. I can't just order from a local Lenovo store.
My questions:
Is there any reliable way to fix a broken scissor clip without replacing the whole keyboard?
Does anyone know where to source individual keycap + mechanism replacements for the Lenovo LOQ? (AliExpress? A specific seller?)
Has anyone in Latin America / Bolivia dealt with something like this?
