I just read that gospels discovered in Alexandria, which predate the texts KJV was translated from, reveal that the gospel were added to over the years. If this is true it makes it difficult to believe the Gospel is " God breathed." This has really confused me and would love some solid insight from other Christians. I have a deep faith but I admit I am not very educated theogically.
Horizontal junipers on steep slope under the back patio have held the slope for over 20 years. The last 3-4 years the slope has started to erode under the junipers. We have tried to build some tiers and check dams with rocks and timber but seems we are just moving the area of erosion to a different spot. Found new big hole underneath one of the juniper plants this morning. I threw some big 4" rocks and was planning on adding more and some top soil... Is this the right thing to do? My thoughts the rock will slow down the water, the soil will help the juniper roots re- hold the slope. The last picture is from last year. Don't know where the soil went. It is not down at the bottom?! Any constructive thoughts are welcome. Or who would I consult or hire for advice? Thought about doing a massive riprap dump and be done with it.
Lewis's keto bread is low in calories high in fiber but depends on resistant wheat starch for low carb carb count. Have any of you used this? If so did your weight loss stall. I think it is probably a "cheat" but the low calories compared to home made low carb breads are really tempting. I am 70 yrs old and the pounds even on low carb don't come off as easy. Thanks for your experience!
