Mini 5 Pro Problem Holding position

Hey guys,

So I recently bought a Mini 5 Pro and tried a night flight for the first time yesterday. I launched the drone from my yard and took some night shots of the city I live in. However, I faced a pretty serious issue that nearly caused my drone to crash multiple times.

At first, I flew the drone around my yard to check the LiDAR front-facing obstacle avoidance. The obstacle avoidance worked fine as far as I can tell—it detected all trees and bushes perfectly. However, I noticed that the drone had a hard time holding its position when I wasn't giving any joystick inputs. I didn't pay much attention to this at first, but after finishing the shots, I pressed the Auto Return-to-Home button and on its way back, it somehow flew almost straight up backwards into a wall. I had to activate Sport Mode to get it to stop, otherwise it would have crashed.

After that, I tried flying around my yard a bit more, and the drone really couldn't hold its position—it kept drifting left, right, up, and down in every direction. And not just a little bit, but more like 3 meters or so. After a few seconds, I always had to switch to Sport Mode, which made the drone stay in place.

So my question is: Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Is this normal? The drone had a GPS connection—probably not the best since I was in the city and I didn't check signal strength, but it was connected. I also experimented with the auxiliary LED: when it was turned on, things improved slightly, but with the auxiliary LED off, it was absolutely horrible.

Sensor issues DJI Mini 5 Pro

Hey guys,

so I bought a Mini 5 Pro about two weeks ago.

The first time I went flying with the drone I was super impressed and had a lot of fun.

However, a few days ago I noticed some issues with the downward-facing ToF sensor.

The drone often thinks that it is only 2 to 4m above the ground when it is actually 70+ meters in the air. In some cases, even the entire screen on the

remote starts blinking red because the drone thinks it is about to crash, even though there are no obstacles nearby.

What bothers me the most is that the drone does not let me descend at a normal speed because it always thinks it is near the ground. So the descent speed is around 0.3 to 1 m/s in most scenarios, which is simply unbearable when you want to bring the drone down quickly.

I have already tried a few things like flying in different lighting conditions or reinstalling the firmware of the drone, but nothing helped. I therefore wanted to ask you guys if anybody faces similar issues or even has a solution.

Thanks in advance!

bad battery life on galaxy tab s10+

Hey guys,

so I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ like two months ago. I mostly use it at university to take notes and watch some YouTube or Netflix from time to time. I noticed, however, that the battery life is not the best. Don't get me wrong, it's not the worst I have ever seen, but it's not really good either.

I attached a screenshot from today where I hardly made it through a day at university. Since I read some articles saying that the battery life is not exceptional, I did not have very high expectations, but 5 hours and 45 minutes for over 80% of charge seems really weak to me—especially considering the fact that I did not game or anything like that.

Samsung Notes seems to consume a tremendous amount of battery and it is a bit frustrating. The device also gets noticeably warm when using Samsung Notes for like 1.5 hours. Not hot, but nonetheless around 35°C, which seems quite warm for a tablet.

So my question is: does anyone else face similar issues, or maybe even has some ideas on how to get a bit more battery life out of the tablet?

Thanks in advance!
