Beware of toyfort.in/Amazon Shipping

I bought Majorette Wave 5 BMW M3 from toyfort.in on 26 Sep. Since I wasn't familiar with their website, I opted for cash on delivery. On the same day as i ordered (26 sep) I got a whatsapp message from the toyfort, sending me the ss of the product asking me to confirm, that kinda gave me slight assurance that the website is legit.

The product was shipped via amazon shipping the next day 27th september. I received the package on 1st of october. Dumb me didn't really unbox and verify before paying, because the earlier message from them asking me to confirm the product, so I trusted them blindly. Then onto the next dumb part by me, i unboxed it right away without unboxing video. Surprise, surprise there was nothing inside, just two layers of box and thermacol. I was so upset at myself and the seller.

I assumed that the seller is scam so no use of reaching out to them. So i reached out to amazon shipping support, which is of no use as well, their customer support was rude af telling me to reach out to the vendor that they can't do anything. I was insisting that the cash on delivery was facilitated by them, but the customer support guy kept repeating the same thing in rude manner. Never imagined amazon support to be this bad, I always had good experience atleast from amazon website's support.

Then, I was like okay, this is an 800+ rs lesson. At last, I did reach out to the seller via whatsapp, I was furious and called them out for scam. They got upset saying they did send the product, its amazon shipping that would have scammed, their delivery partners might have taken the product and sent it. The product when i received it, didn't look tampered. They offered to give me refund but when i shared my upi, they didn't send any money.

Anyway I don't know who to trust in this case. I know my money is lost, I just wanted share my experience with you all so yall can make informed decision.

I have attached all screenshots and order proof whatever I have available.

TL;DR: Ordered a Majorette BMW M3 (₹800+) via COD from toyfort.in, verified order on WhatsApp, and had it shipped via Amazon Shipping. Paid upfront and unboxed without video proof to find an empty box stuffed with thermocol. Amazon Shipping support was rude and refused to help since they only handled delivery, while the seller blamed courier theft,. Lost the money, posting as a PSA.

Bought my first 3d Printer

I have been interested in 3d Printing for couple of years but never really got around to owning one. Finally took the decision to buy one.

Bought from Hydrotech3dchennai. Very good customer service they answered all my queries before ordering.

I plan on printing figurines, fun functional stuff and also some abs/asa for some projects I have planned. If you guys have any suggestions/tips and or any handy tools to help with my journey do share.

Ordered some elegoo filaments from Wol3d but they havent even shipped so far its been 3 days. Luckily I bought a single spool while I ordered the 3D Printer to test it.

If you guys have any suggestions regarding purchasing Filaments please do share. I know people commonly suggest Numakers here but if there is any other options do share that as well.

Buying my first 3d printer

I've been thinking about buying 3d printer for sometime but somehow never really got around to it. Now that I am seeing lot of really good prints with not much of tinkering. I am finally thinking getting 3d printer but I am confused.

Me and my buddy we have been planning to print stuffs like computer cabinet accessories example like the face plate for Dan A3 case. then some diy stuff with iot, also some rc vehicle mostly to experiment and prototype with it. He knows CAD & I know a bit of blender. I also wanna print some figurines and try my hand in painting, as well print some fun functional stuff that might be needed in my home or family's. So this is my requirement essentially.

Budget: 1 lakh (can go slightly more but it has to be worth spending that much)

The options I looked at:

  • BambuLab A2L
  • BambuLab P2S
  • Flashforge Creator 5 pro
  • Centauri Carbon 2

Anything other than Bambulab I am kinda skeptical because of spare parts availability, the overall reliability & print quality as well.

So any suggestion regarding printer choices would be welcome & should I get anything along with the printer? Like a UPS ? is it absolutely necessary?
