Is building an indigenous filament dryer in india a good idea

I've been thinking about building and selling filament dryers in india as I've seen a lot of posts even on this subject of people not being satisfied with what is available in the market and mostly going the diy route

I want to understand more what the consumers think what do y'all think

Trusted sellers for buying P2S combo

Hey,

I want to buy a BambuLab P2S combo. I am in bangalore. I know BambuLab has 6 different authorised sellers. Also just for context, I'm relatively new to 3d printing and this will be my first printer.

I'm looking to collect feedback around these sellers.

Here's what I know so far -

  1. Robu.in - most popular, well established but trash support

  2. Wol3d - has a store in bangalore, but people complain about inconsistent support. Also, they put their stickers on the product which is infuriating.

  3. Hydrotech3dchennai - surprisingly the most positive feedback across reddit but couldn't find much on after sales support

  4. 3idea and ideal3d - couldn't find much except a few threads on reddit where people recommend but don't go into details.

  5. Amazon - no stock

Can y'all share your experience in the comment

Bambu’s Dominance in 3D Printing — But What’s the Best Backup Option?

Hey guys,

We’re planning to expand our print farm now, and currently almost all our machines are Bambu printers. Mostly P2 and A1 series. Honestly speaking, no complaints till now. The ecosystem is just too good. Reliability, ease of use, Bambu Studio, Handy app, spare availability — everything just works.

But recently I started thinking… what’s the second best option after Bambu?

Because let’s be real, right now Bambu is dominating heavily. But what if someday things change? Like MakerWorld already has a crazy amount of copyrighted stuff uploaded openly. If someday companies start taking legal action, or Bambu changes policies, monetizes features, adds subscriptions to Handy app, limits cloud stuff, etc… then what?

For personal use it’s okay maybe, but for print farms depending fully on one ecosystem feels slightly risky long term.

So I wanted genuine suggestions from people running farms or using multiple brands.

Which printer do you think is the best alternative to Bambu right now?

Main things I’m looking for:

- Reliable for long farm usage

- Can work nicely with Bambu Studio if possible

- Spare parts availability in India

- Easy maintenance

- Good community support

Would love to hear real experiences from people who shifted or added non-Bambu printers to their setup.

Ultimaker S5 3d printer for sale

Hi, I am from Mumbai, Maharashtra and I had a 3d printing startup which eventually got shut down and I was left with a Ultimaker S5 3d printer. Which I would like to sell, it is in good working condition and all the parts are original. I also have a print core BB (nozzle), bran new, never been used, it is meant for printing high end, high temp materials. This printer is one of the most reliable FDM printer out there in the market and no printer prints lights off like this one. People who are genuinely interested in buying this machine can contact me via DM.

Thank you.

Printing PA-CF on the Lynx 350

A lot of people asked us to show actual print results from the Lynx 350, so here’s a timelapse from one of our recent PA-CF prints.

These parts are printed using our own in-house  PA-CF material that we’re currently testing and refining. Both the printer and the material are our products, and we’ve been pushing them extensively for high-speed engineering applications.

We’re still refining profiles and process parameters, but the results are finally starting to come together consistently.

We’ll be going live very soon with more updates, material tests and machine showcases.

WTB 3d Printer

I am looking to buy a 3d printer. I am a beginner and want to enter 3d printing. I will mostly using for personal projects only.
So could you guys recommend which model will be best for me. I am planning to buy a decent model which I won’t need to change in future (not very expensive though) and where can I buy the printer? I will need to buy it online as there are no local shops selling near me.
Also, which software you use to design STL files.

Is it just me or the Wol3D support is like a roller-coaster?

So, I wanted to buy filament in Dehli, after seeing that there was a physical store of Wol3D in Dehli, I wanted to go there instead of the delivery process as I need the filament asap.

I searched online regarding the availability of filaments, the results told me to enquire Wol3D about filaments. So, I messaged their Dehli store number, an AI talked to me which needed my billing address for some reason when I was asking whether or not if the filament could be picked up in the store. Then I messaged the Sales Team who redirected me to the same AI but this time a human was speaking. The person told me it was in stock.... in Mumbai Store. But I clearly asked them "Can I buy filament in offline store" . I don't know what support is this. They said that they would connect me to their tam while I was clearly talking to their team.

Anyone had the same issue? And do you guys know where other to buy filaments in New Dehli area (in offline store) which is reputable ( The filament manufacturer) ?

Filament refills

Looking into getting refill-only filament for my printer instead of buying full rolls every time.

Are there any brands in India where the refill is actually cheaper than the normal spool version? Most listings I’m seeing are the same price if not higher

aiming for something less than 700rs, which is the cheapest spool i can find
