Why there is no Bmabu lab anniversary sale in India.

Indian resellers are selling at regular price during the bambu lab anniversary sale period in india. Bambu lab don't sell directly to custom or business in India. Why there is no anniversary sale applicable in India.
FYI: last 3 years they had this anniversary sale in India

Anyone Running a Profitable 3D Printing Business in India? Need Guidance

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to start a 3D printing business in India and would love some advice from people who are already in this space.

My initial ideas include:

  • Custom keychains
  • Personalized name keychains
  • House number plates
  • Nameplates
  • Other small customized products

I'm also considering offering a dropshipping/fulfillment service for sellers, where they can take orders and I handle the printing, packing, and shipping. If anyone is already running a similar business, I'd really appreciate your insights.

I have a few questions:

  1. Which 3D printer would you recommend for starting out?
  2. Which brands are the most reliable?
  3. Should I buy a single-color printer first, or invest in a multi-color printer?
  4. Which filament material (PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.) is best for products like keychains and nameplates?
  5. How much monthly revenue is realistically possible?
  6. What profit margins can I expect after material, electricity, and shipping costs?
  7. Are there any mistakes you made when starting that I should avoid?

I'd really appreciate any advice, recommendations, or lessons from your experience. Thanks in advance!

How much it will cost to print this?

It's a card holder for hot wheels. It should at least support 10 cards.

Amazon Buying Query

I was planning to buy my first 3d printer. A1 Mini combo from Amazon but it shows 0 months warranty. Wanted to know if anyone had bought from Amazon and have faced any issues with warranty or so.

Thanks in advance.

Please recommend a good printer for miniature FDM printing. Never used a 3Dprinter before. Budget under 1 lakh.

I was initially looking to get the bambu labs A1 combo but then I found out about the thermistor issue which I'm not willing to take a chance on, since dealing with support, possible fire hazard and the hassle of replacing the AC board is not something I want to deal with so now I'm tryna avoid bambu labs completely

Am i wrong to feel paranoid ?? Should i just get the A1 and not worry about this issue?

Please recommend alternatives which are just as good and kinda plug and play without me having to mess around calibrating a ton and trying to fix stuff. Another printer that I'm considering is the creality i7.

I live in hyderbad, telangana and my flat has occasional power outages. Its fine if my prints fail due to it.

Iam a 3d artist, i sculpt in blender and zbrush. I'm hoping to 3d print and possibly sell my own miniatures if i feel like it. I would really appriciate it if yaal can help me out, thank you so much.

Thinking of buying an A1 Combo – How does it handle frequent power fluctuations and short 30-second outages?

Hey everyone, I'm planning to get the Bambu Lab A1 Combo with AMS, but my area is notorious for constant power fluctuations. My apartment has a backup generator, but it takes about 10 to 30 seconds to kick in when the grid fails.

I have a few questions before pulling the trigger:

  1. Hardware Safety: Will constant voltage fluctuations and sudden power drops damage the printer's electronics or AC board over time?
  2. Power Loss Recovery: If a power cut happens mid-print, how reliable is the resume feature? Will it flawlessly pick up where it left off after the 30-second delay, or am I risking ruined prints?
  3. UPS Recommendations: Because of the delay, I’m considering a UPS just to bridge that 10-30 second gap. Does anyone have a good UPS recommendation that can handle the A1's peak draw?

complete beginner, looking for electronics parts and fun hobby printing mostly

pls suggest the diff what to be mindful of

i wanted to go for bambu labs but elegoo and creality seems to have same/better features at lower price. is the extra price worth it for bambu?

my local dealer is saying neptune 4 pro can print more types of filaments than a1

Has anyone successfully bypassed / disabled a broken 4th toolhead (Toolhead 3) on the Snapmaker U1?

Hey everyone,

I’m running into a massive roadblock on my Snapmaker U1 and could really use some insight from anyone who has tweaked their configuration or dealt with toolhead failures.

Recently, my 4th toolhead slot (Toolhead 3 / e3) suffered a hardware failure/disconnection. I have been trying to modify my printer.cfg to completely disable [mcu e3] and [extruder3] so I can just run the machine as a 3-toolhead CoreXY setup while I sort out a replacement.

Unfortunately, no matter how cleanly I comment out the e3 sections, macro variables, or underlying factory configs (factory.cfg), Snapmaker's background closed-source modules (filament_feed, defect_detection, etc.) seem to hard-poll the missing slot on boot. It consistently triggers a hardware-level deadlock loop: Internal error during connect: [Errno 16] Device or resource busy on /dev/ttyS6.

My questions for the community:

  1. Has anyone successfully altered a U1 configuration to permanently bypass a missing/broken toolhead slot without the OS panicking about a busy serial resource? If so, what did you have to change in the backend files?
  2. Where can I buy an entire replacement hotend/toolhead module assembly in India or find a structural solution to swap out the broken hardware? I'm looking to get this 4th slot functional again as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance for any pointers. I'm running on empty trying to trace this terminal loop!

Need some assistance with websites and printer.

I'm planning to buy an Elegoo Centauri Carbon, but Amazon no longer ships it to my location (it used to, but suddenly stopped).

Which seller would you recommend: Robu, WOL3D, Ideal3D, or another retailer?

My main concern is shipping damage, warranty support, and receiving a defective unit. If you've purchased a printer from any of these stores, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Thanks!
